You will need:
🗹 A length of pine which is 5 x 5 cm square
🗹 Drop saw
🗹 Sandpaper
🗹 Ruler
🗹 Pencil
🗹 Resene testpot brush
🗹 Fine paint brush
🗹 Resene testpots
Step 1. Using a pencil measure your pine so your cubes are 7 x 7 cm
Step 2. Using a drop saw, cut the pine into cubes as measured. You will also need to cut the slanted roof off two of the pieces too using your saw.
Step 3. Sand off any rough edges if needed with sandpaper.
Step 4. Paint four of your cubes in one colour (we used Resene Quarter New Denim Blue and 3 cubes in Resene Triple Concrete).
Step 5. Using a fine paint brush paint your doors and window designs onto the painted blocks. We used Resene Alabaster and Resene Black.
Step 6. Stack blocks to make a tower and pop on a shelf or chest of drawers with other decorative elements, so they're always available for play.
