Hey guys
so i have to book a dating scan for prob next week, should i do it earlier in the week or later on? MW reckons i'm about 6w+4 going by her estimated 34 day cycle lol but based on my ov date i'm 6w+1 today, so would it be best to leave it to 7 weeks to try and see the heartbeat or should i just get it done early next week and hope to see it then???
I always think 7-8 weeks is better as they are just that wee bit bigger and you will definately see a hb where as early 6 weeks it could still be too small....
Congratulations! With both of mine we've seen a heart beat at about 5.5 weeks. But there's no guarantee, so if you think it will stress you out too much to perhaps not see a heartbeat then probably best to wait another few days.
I had an early scan at 6w3days and whilst we did see a heartbeat, I was warned that there was just as much chance that we wouldn't at that point. In a way having the scan a wee bit later is a blessing because it means your chances are that much better of seeing it and obviously a bit more development too . Congratulations!
