Hey, just to check in on everyone, I am now in 3rd trimester and am feeling fanbloodytastic. Finally got my mojo back! Was feeling okish in 2nd trimester but still had to have a sit down during the day at some point, but now can go all day without a rest at home at least! And not needing to get to bed at 8.30 every nite. Yeeha! 3rd trimester need not be the 'temple of doom!'

I had a terrible 1st trimester, and don't think I'll ever forget it. After three miscarriages, was put onto progesterone when I got pregnant this time, and it made me so very sick. After I came off I got a UTI. I have never had cravings, just aversions to every single food imaginable. I was tired, I was depressed, I was grumpy. After TTC for years, and finally getting pregnant, and making it past 6 and a half weeks, it was supposed to be wonderful. I don't look pregnant, just fat. I am sick of people giving me unwanted advice. Because of my miscarriages, I didn't get attached to bump straight away, and so still not attached to her, I forget that I'm pregnant most days, and just think that I'm unwell. People keep telling me that I'll forget all this, but I will never forget what it took to get me here, and how ill I've felt. Evie's going to be an only child because I'm not putting myself through this again.

ETA: As well as really bad back pain, and being hospitalised for dehydration from vomiting too much.

Kelzie Rose, hey, nothing wrong with an only child, they just get all your love.

Pregnancy is full of disallusions when you feel like this as its just not what is portrayed, so you feel 'not normal' but there are a lot of women out there who feel exactly the same way, and some of them have posted on here. I certainly had my weeks where I just felt like I had some chronic illness, not pregnancy, and it was hard to find someone to talk to who understood. It played with my mind/emotions as well. DH is great but I don't think they really get it and what your body and mind go thru. But you have been through the ringer and its better to get it off your chest and you will be amazed at the amount of woman who have and are going thru it too. Then maybe you can start to claim your life back and get some perspective, but in the meantime, have a moan, sometimes its just what is needed.

Kelzie_rose you sound like you need a big Pregnancy is hard work! and it sounds like you are having a pretty rough time of it too - don't worry hun you will get there with bonding, even if it doesn't happen until after bubs is here - I know that was the case for me. Hoping things get a bit easier for you, or at least go quickly
