And a couple of bad ones:

Elmo = Homo - thanks to his father calling him that.
Flushing = F**king

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I was trying to teach Akasha a bit about Vlocanoes the other day (it was on squirt, which we just happened to be watching) anyway, I got to the end of my little spiel and said dont worry, we dont have anything in Nelson though. and she just looked at me and says "Dont touch the Hot-canoes mummy, you will get burned!"

another thing we get her to say often is delicious: Dee-lish-ish!"

Tia has begun making animal noises, she does the horse noise really well it goes a little something like this " Eeeeeeeee-hm-hm-hm-hm" like a whinny. shes 10.5 months old so its really cute!

aww. cute.

Mike had a conversation with Pari son the way home tonight, she asked him if when she got older she could have a baby in her tummy like mummy used to. He said yes, when she was much older, lol.. so she turned to ayja and said, "then you get to be in my tummy!" mike said that no, ayja would not be the baby in her tummy, she would have her own baby.. to which she replied "aw, i can't think of my OWN baby"

I have to laugh at Jaidyn at the moment. hes going through the phase of saying "Jaidyn wants that" when he sees toys he likes on telly. He even does it for me saying "Mummy wants that". Apparently I really want the Brat dolls lol

Hannah told me the other day to "Sort out Bria" (Briona) lol It all came about because Briona snatched Hannah's doll - again - just to tease.

My son was about 2 yrs & 9 mths. It was getting cooler at night & it was time to bring out one of those childrens hot water bottles with a cover that is a hippo. He also loves his "Thomas the Tank Engine" trains.

When he first went to bed with his hot water bottle in the hippo cover, my husband & i told him it was his hippopotamus, in which he then called it his "hot-a-thomas". We of course thought it was hilarious, & the name has stuck!
