My opinion is that the Drs in Hamilton are really good, but the nurses / admin are pretty shoddy. I was very happy with the decisions my Dr (Dr Ravikanti) made about my care, but the other staff often tended to make what was a tough time even harder. Stuff like forgetting to call back, or insisting that I had to wait a loooong time to start taking provera when I
knew that there was no way in hell AF was just going to turn up since I hadn't ovulated that cycle, and it was a waste of time waiting. I had to get quite grumpy to get them to agree to even ask the Dr about that, who straight away agreed with me and gave me a script
In my case, I was happy with the care I was getting, just aware I had to live with some not-quite-up-there customer service, and know my cycle/body enough to get a little stroppy if need be. I wouldn't have gone to the effort of going to a clinic an hour or so away. But I can see why you might... your call really.
