Ava's 2nd birthday is at the beginning of September and I am planning everything well in advance!

I am tossing up between a Wendy's Super Sundae Ice cream cake with a wiggles topping, or a supermarket cake with a wiggles topping.

I want to make sure it tastes nice - has anyone else had one of these types of cakes and are the horrible or nice?!!

you could make your own instead...

but i love ice cream cake too - i think wendys are quite pricey though.

The supermarket does ice cream cakes .. nom nom.

the wendys ice cream cakes are quite expensive- I looked into it last year for Ella and ended up just making my own ice cream cake (it was so easy and then you can choose the ice cream flavours).

It depends on how many people you are having but with Alexandria recently we had a family birthday which was just us at home on her birthday and we got Wendy's Ice cream Cup Cakes. They are great. 4 cup cakes for $15.

Then for her party we got a $5 chocolate cake from Foodtown.

The wendys ones are actually a spnge cake with a layer of icecream on top... I did that for B's 3rd birthday, and for what I paid, I felt quite ripped off, I was never told it wasnt all icecream!

Supermarket do solid icecream cakes for under $15 its in the long freezers with the ice cream tubs in a blue box
