hearing the heartbeat has made it all that more real for me, and after talking to Kent he is more settled as the midwife is really happy with how things are progressing,
she reckons in about 4 weeks i will start to feel the baby move. Now that i cant wait for.

I remember waiting to feel bubs move and then you think...was that it? was it gas? It's much easier on bubba 2, you know what you should feel.

I remember the first time I felt Chloe move, I kept second guessing myself whenever I felt her move I guess I didn't want to get my hopes up or something silly. When baby is bigger it's exciting being able to push on your tummy then feel bubs kick back. You have sooo much to look forward to I'm so excited for you.

Yah I felt bub move at 13 weeks and that was like...oh man what on earth was that?.....and now it is like oh there is the leg again....lovely!!!
He he ha ha...must admit tho I like it and if she does not move for a while I just give my tummy a gentle rub with a light push and she starts to move and kick...ok so you are fine....LOL
Yes there is so much yet to happen for you....

It is so cool to hear it for the first time and the novelty doesnt wear off. I look forward to my appointments just so I can hear the heartbeat It gives me peace of mind as well.

Yeah I was like that too. Before I could feel baby moving, I was hanging out to hear the heartbeat just so I knew everything was ok.

I bled so much with Josiah, hearing the heartbeat was so wonderful. It showed us everything was fine with him.

I've discovered a little secret.... if you have a bath, make it deep so it covers as much of your tum as possible. Put your ears under the water and zone out so your almost meditating..... concentrate on nothing but the quietness of the water. If you are lucky (and I have been everytime now), you will hear your babies heartbeat!! It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool!!

Hehe! Yeah, at first I thought it was mine, then realised if it was then I was about to have a heart attack!! I asked my midwife and she said yes, it very possibly was the baby and to maybe try and time the heart rate. Got to 142 bpm and realised it WAS the baby! Might not work for everyone, but wanted to let you know that it was possible.

I tried the deep bath last night and heard bubs heartbeat! I could also hear the kicking. I could tell it wasn't my heartbeat because it was a lot faster than mine.

Yay!! Isn't it amazing It would have been way more obvious for you given you are almost about to have your bubs! I still have to strain and zone out to hear it properly!
