dont know the answer either - but do know that in the beginning your bump is actually your bowel as it moves up to make room.

I know that my baby can hear and thats only been for a few weeks.. when you get your first bounty pack read along till around 25+ weeks and it will say when they start to hear and see light.. im a freak and ever since I got preg i read my belly a story every night, I did the same with Caleb.. with Caleb I started to look preg at 14wks, and with this one it was abut 12weeks, my babys seem to just stick out right from the start....

How can we be sure when they start to hear??? But I do think that once their hearing system is developed they would hear sound. But I would say 20+ weeks. I cant remember but bounty pack does mention it.

I think babies start to hear at about 26 weeks. It is in the bounty pregnancy book at about 25 or 26 weeks ( I think). The whole memory thing has gone out the window. Somedays I have trouble remembering what I had for lunch the day before.

I used to sing silly little repetative songs to my babies when I was pregnant. They both responded to the same songs when they were newborns.

I found it amazing how they learn your while in your tummy. I didn't really believe they could hear properly before being born until I had Chloe and she would lie in her bed in hospital and cry even with a nurse talking to her then settle as soon as she heard my voice. This time I don't feel so silly talking to my bump. . .as long as nobody is around!
