Well I did a test this afternoon and got a very very very faint positive! Still to be confirmed but how often do you get a false positive?? I would be only about 3-4 weeks pregnant so I would be due end of May or beginning of June I think?

wow congrats.  Don't usually get false positive unless after a miscarriage or something I think.  If you are going to do another one to confirm the best time to do it is first pee in the morning as your pee is more concentrated

Congratulations!!!

I think once you go and see your doc, they will do a blood test to confirm......But I have never heard of a false positive.

No such thing as a false positive. The hCG hormone turns the test positive, and can only be found in women who are pregnant. So congratulations!!!!!

Well I went to the doctors & he has me down for being due sometime between 26th - 31st May at this stage but definitely pregnant.....Already feeling that nausea coming on! OH YAY NOT. He said they is no way I could get a false positive unless I was taking medication with Hcg in it so yay for me
I am so excited. My fiancee is all smug & was like "Oh ok". Grinning like a cat that got the cream though!

I'm beginning to get really HUGE! Not baby tummy, but everywhere else is enlarging!! I'm quite amused by it all actually!! I have had to buy size 14 pants recently to wear to work, and all my lovely size 10's and 12's are sitting in the cupboard all lonely and missing me!! Jono is loving my new boobs though

i shrunk really fast after having PAris, but probably wasn't eating enough to sustain both myself and her. this time i snack throughout the day, and i don't think i have shrunk as fast.. still a few wobbly bits, but i fit my old clothes still.

I'm going to have to buy lots of new clothes when I shrink cos I wore my old clothes - esp tops - a bit long and they stretched! Good excuse isnt it!

Hi Jack's Mum yes I was definitely sick this early last time....In fact I think I was alot sicker! This time its just nausea last time it was power chucking, that may still be to come though but hopefully not. I will have about 8 months to trim down after bubs #2 is due before my wedding. Uh oh.....Although with ALex it only took a couple of weeks to lose the weight then I promptly went & put it all on again. Bad Toni!!
I think it was more from drinking coke (I go to CocaCola drinkers anonymous ) than anything else because I do tend to eat quite healthily.

hey Nikki, Jake and Hannah are having a birthdayparty on the same day I think. Are you making a cake? I'm attempting to make the dump-truck in the Woman's weekly book.

I want to make a cake but my friend Kelly said it's under control?!?! I'm still going to make one altho I'm not too confident with cakes, i kinda need a few practise runs before i get it right. and then to ice it and make it look interesting?!?! i think i'm going to need to try a few out first.

I was reading in the Womens Weekly cake book that you should make the cake the day before you ice it to stop it going all crumby. I'll have to remember that next time.

yep, i make the cake(s) the day before, also i cut them to the right shape too, to save time, so i can just get up on the day of the party and ice away. i read somewhere that you can stick em in the freezer or fridge overnight and when you decorate it then it won't be crumby... must say i haven't tried it though. i usually just go for making the cake the same colour as the icing... ie, dark icing = choc cake, white icing = white cake. that way if a few crumbs get anywhere then they aren't noticable. lol. good luck! just take your time and try and make sure the area is kid free.

I think that was my problem, because of Maya's allergies the only recipe I had was a choc cake, and then trying to ice it with white icing it went crumby and you could see the dark cake underneath. The fridge/freezer idea makes sense.
