My parents are leaving the country so they are tidying up the stuff into piles of keep, throw away and sell. Normal things you do when you move. So I used the opportunity to get mum to look for some of my baby stuff and other things that are important. So she started looking in the cupboards and kept telling me everytime I saw her that she is sure I have all the stuff. Well I went out there tonight and guess what my mum had found:

• My Australian birth cert (a very expensive peice of paper)
• My baby passport I was all of 5 days old when I got it
• My dual citizenship certificate (to say I am a Kiwi by decent)
• All my baby plunket type records from Australia
• My baptisim certificate
• My first bible given to me - just the new testiment (called level 27)

I've been given everything but my passport (mum is keeping that in her box of treasures) and my birth cert ( I have to get a metalbox to put it in to keep it safe from fire) before I can get it.

But I knew all along that she still had that stuff and i'm glad I stuck to it and kept telling her she still had it.
