Thanks Emma!!

WOW I cant believe its time for new April babies!!  Where has the last year gone?!?

How are all our wee darlings?  My angel has turned into a devil in a matter of weeks lol!  He has become quite the assertive wee treasure, he feels he should be able to eat cat food, play with the tv/stereo/potplants/doors ( you get the picture!!) without Mum being 2 steps behind ruining all his fun!!  Tis school hols at the moment so Zayne came to playgroup with us this afternoon, so I have one asleep and one just cruising at the moment.

Does anyone else have a blanket escapee?? Have just checked in on the boys and yep as usual Leo has escaped from all his blankets!!  I was one step ahead tonight and dressed him in warm jammies, it is freezing here, strange child!!  I usually wait til he is asleep and go in and cover him up but even then he kicks the covers off in his sleep!!

WTG Madison at taking some steps!!!   That is awesome Ellen!!  What are all the bubbas birthdays?  Leo is 22nd April, next sunday, I know his is first and then joshie and madison a day apart I think?  And Miss Olivia next?

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!

maddys still in a safety sleep so i just put her in a sleeping bag cause if she wasn't she would kick off all the blankets to. She was waking in the night a couple of months ago and i thought it was because she was cold not hungry so i bought a sleeping bag and it has done the trick.

Maddys b'day is the 5th of may

Olivia is still a little ball of giggles and tears Only mummy can fix what ever is broken, even if mummy did it!!
Olivia is into chasing what ever animal crosses her path, adoring others and has learned to climb the couch
Olivia was in a safety sleep till she was about 8 months but I took if off, the road was a bit bumpy for the first week but it seems to be plain sailing now. I would recommend one of those sleeping bags that are connected to the sheets if you were interested in that sort of thing... I have never used them but I hear they can be good for the right baby.
If Olivia kicks her blankies off, she usually does it within the first couple of hours of sleep so me or Hubby just fix her before we go in to bed.
Olivia is turning 1 soon! 12.5.2006

Leo 22 April

Madison 5 May

Joshie  ? May(come on Clare)

Olivia 12 May

Blaire 1 June

Spencer  (june I think?)

I took Leo out of the Safety sleep a few weeks ago as he decided one nap time to pull his nappy off and wee all over it and I just didnt put it back on, he has been fine without it, and even with it still kicked off all his covers!!  Ellen where did you get yr sleeping bag from??

lol at the giggles and tears Sara, I have one of those here too, mood swings can change by the minute!  What I am finding amusing is the baby tantrums!!!  Zayne was annoying him yesterday and he was pretty quick to put him in his place!  Any other tanty packers here??  (babies not the mamas!!!).

Will start a birthday pics thread in restricted!!  We are having a little lunch thingee on sunday for his highness, we are also getting some 4 generation family pics done with my Dh, the 2 boys, his dad and his grandma who turned 90 the day Zayne was born, so is now 96!

trying to get the cat food before mum gets to move it up high

The scan went well It showed that Olivia is going to have a heart murmur for life though as it is abnormal in general. But the actual problem of the pulmonary stentosis is going to decrease as she gets older. Just a monitor when she is 3 and we will probably get discharged
I still haven't made Olivia's bed in better sheets I am so lazy... well I did vacum today AND drop fliers, so I can't be that bad

Mr L has had a cold for the last few days, poor darling!  Not helped at all by the cold weather I'm sure, he is all tucked up in bed smelling like baby vicks and karvol

A few pics of Leo harrassing his big brother (who was trying to play playstation in peace) , poor Zayne will be pleased to get back to school, Leo wont leave him alone!

Hey everyone! Sorry to have been so quiet lately - life has been very hectic. I lost my job a couple of weeks ago, but have been lucky to find a new one very quickly and am absolutely loving it so far, but no time for Oh Baby during working hours unfortunately Joshua's birthday passed last week, and my wee boy had a ball. Lots of presents and cake, and a wonderful time had by all. He's onto his second week of daycare, and so far not too bad, although they are having missions getting him to sleep, so he's knackered come home time (3pm). Hope you are all really well

Hey all!

Welcome back Clare!  Glad the new job is working out well and sounds like Joshie had a fantastic birthday!!  There was a birthday thread for him somewhere I'll see if I can find it!

Sara, you will LOVE having a one year old!!  The tantrums are fantastic!  Seriously though, hope your girl has an awesome birthday, are you still charting?  If you ever need a hand sing out wont you, I have had plenty of experience with the whole charting business.  I have a brand spanking new chart myself!

Hi Ellen and Cindy if you are about!

Yes I WILL post leos birthday pics soon I promise!!

OMG OMG OMG Char is TTC again!! I have got the basics of charting and am pretty stoked with the visual image that it is producing. Add your charts to my Charts thread on the TTC board :)
Olivia didn't wait till she was one, she has been having tantrums for about a month now LOL!! very advanced for her age ;) She is a girl that knows what she wants. I just try to remember to praise her for doing all the everyday stuff that she is good at and ignore/frown on the bad stuff.

Hi! I don't get on here much either as it takes AGES to load on my pathetic dialup *sigh* I don't know why it is so slow, maybe because there are so many things to load?
Anywho, my darling is not long been 11 months old and since we are pretty much moving on his birthday it will not been the best first birthday for him but I figure that he won't remember that we didn't "celebrate" his birthdya on the right day LOL!

Hi ladies, I'm Daphne, haven't been on here too long. I have a son Oliver who was born on 9th June 06. He is LOVING books at the moment particularly 'lift the flap' ones. If someone is sitting on the floor, he'll pick up a book, walk in front of you and reverse until he is seated in your lap! Very cute - DH makes sounds like a backing truck which is quite funny

We are in Hamilton too.

Addison has started climbing, and can say a few words now but isnt a huge talker. She loves doing everything kobe is doing which is hard in some ways, especially when it comes to things like climbing the big slide at the park.

How funny!! Looks like we're all a bit rubbish at keeping up with this!! Bout time we caught up I reckon!

Well, I'll start things off - Joshua is 21 months old now, and an absolute delight.... well, apart from the BITING that has started in the last few days. Grrrrrr!! Anyone got any tips to deal with this stage? We've been taking him straight into time out, with a short talk about biting not being allowed, and not nice, and we don't bite etc etc......

Asides from that little gem, he's just wonderful! Gorgeous auburny curls, really tall, a great sense of humour, very adventurous, lovely and cuddly.... ah, my boy rocks!!

How are the other almost two year olds going???

Hiya Clare!

Leo is also 21 months, will be 22 months on thursday.  Cant believe he will be 2 shortly!!  We havent had any biting here but we do get the lovely tantrums lol!!  Definelty headstrong is my boy.  He loves big brother, and is getting used to little brother lol, he is actually really gentle with him suprisingly and kinda pats him on the head while I am feeding him.  Leo is also a huge fan of the cat and the dog and loves running around like a mad person, especially around in circles!!  Oh and he also likes to eat anything in sight!!

I'm not sure that I've ever posted in this thread ....

Ollie has just gone 21 months and generally I think he is doing really well. I thought at one point a couple of months ago that he may have trouble talking. So I took him to the dr to get his ears checked, who then sent me off to a mobile ear clinic where it was pronounced that his hearing is perfectly fine!! What do you know about a week later he started taking an interest in talking! He is loving the word 'No!' too at the moment ...
