lol!! I wish I was still Jakeys booby monster. He weaned himself off at ten months, I was gutted. Now when I feed Charlotte, he gets on my knee and pats it and says "booby". He still calls milk booby, too.

McKayla still is. I want to breastfed a minimum of 2 years unless she doesnt want anymore. I believe in selfled weaning. (maybe with a bit of a push and a prod later on.) She still have 4 day feeds but it nightweaned and on warm days she will sip a bit more.
And yip she is a monster as I am not allowed to BF her babydolls. She rips that poor doll away so quickly.

McKayla literally threw the bottle at me at about 2 weeks. Bright mommy thought that she can express milk and that daddy can take one of the nightfeeds. Wasnt going to happen at all.
She did have some rooibos tea in a bottle with the handles when she was 7 months and still use her Nuk bottles with the handles. But a normal bottle for milk? Yeah right. This one was a boob girl from the word go. Never had latch problems or anything.

Ayja fed till about 15 moths ish. Yep she did have bottles obviously as i was away on placements sometimes so she had to when i couldn't have her brought to me or go to her to feed. But for most of it was expressedmilk till about 7 months when i got too tired.
I was the one who stopped her, otherwise she would have happily carried on.
She still thinks they are hers as had a thing at the moment of looking down my top and going "mummy boobies!!" very embarassing when we are in public.. did it the other day in front of Mike's dad. she thought it was funny, both me and FIL were suitably embarassed.
Should be interesting to see how she goes with me feeding the newbie when it comes along. Paris had been weaned long enough before i had Ayja that she just got a bit obsessed with breastfeeding her dollies which was a good distraction while i fed ayja.
I still maintain one day i will get my body back.

A little bit OT but I was feeding Josh at my friend's house and her little girl did what Paris did and started feeding her dolly it was cute. Thankfully Andrew hasn't tried it.
------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We live in hope! My Mum reckons she's still can't go to the toilet without getting "Muuuuuuuuuuuuum!" and only one of us still lives at home

he he, if it's not a baby factory or milk machine it's a climbing frame or alternative mode of transport to walking.

mikey's 16 months old and still has 2 B/feeds, one in the morning and one at night before bed. i think i'm just going to go with it and see what happens, i think i'd be really sad if he suddenly didn't want it anymore.
he's also never taken a bottle, we tried but he wasn't having any of it.

Depends on what you mean
Ella has never had formula, but she has had a bottle. When I weaned her from the breast at 13.5 months I put her on a bottle (cows milk) as the cup wasn't working too well, and it meant that daddy got some quality time with her for a while. Bottle stopped at 20 months.
