Hi all,

I'm absolutely fed up with going in circles about my current situation and would really appreciate some real answers before I go mad!!!

3 months ago I decided to skip my sugar tablets and go straight onto my contraceptive birth control pill in order to skip my period. Thereafter I have not had a period, I'm now sitting at 3 missed periods which is extremely unusual for me as I have always had a 3 day period that is to the clock each time. I have been on birth control since I was 17 and now I'm 22 years old whereby I've had no problems.

I have been experiencing headaches, rings under my eyes, nausea (where by some days I vomit up acid) and often feel hungover. My sugar levels have increased to an average of 7. And cannot seem to handle certain smells without getting sick.

I have done many urine tests all negative, 1 negative blood test and recently had a follow up blood test with an HCG level of 4.9. I also went in 3 days ago for an ultrasound which gave me all normal results except there is fluid in the pouch of my Douglas.

Do you think I may be pregnant? And any suggestions?!

I would say very unlikely to be pregnant, based on what you've said. We always have a tiny bit of HCG in our blood, but for a positive pregnancy test I think I read it should be above 25.
The symptoms you mention: nausea, bloating and puffiness, headaches, sensitivity to smells, are also associated with premenstrual tension or hormone imbalance, so they aren't exclusive to pregnancy.
