okay I've read the info on this but it's still not clear to me. I'm not aligable to take maternity leave due to not working enough hours. BUT what I want to know is; is my full time husband aligable to take extended leave. So not paid parental leave but the extend leave which partners can share. Does anybody understand how this works.

No leave for you, but if your husband has been working full time for 12+ mths then:

However, father has:

An existing entitlement to 52 weeks unpaid leave; and
Two weeks unpaid paternity leave.
