This is my first child and I'm freaking out (but so so excited.) I knew I was pregnant about 3 weeks ago when I started getting cramps that were kind of like period cramps but no period. Now that it's confirmed we can move on.
I have a bit of an issue, before I fell pregnant I was looking for work, on the job seeker and wanting off it, neither do I want to be on sole parent support for the rest of my life. I'm still on the job seeker support (and starving.) I'm afraid that I'm probably never going to find a job now, employers are going to use the 90 day excuse or contracts aren't going to be renewed. I'm told there is zero tolerance for discrimination but how can silence be seen as discrimination? By that I mean they don't even have to go near the subject to say "See ya later!." Does anyone know of anyone else hiring in the Wellington region that could take me on??
