Morning ladies, I was just wondering if anyone knew if your body gets used to clomid? I'm now on my 6th month of 50mg, the first 4 months I was being monitored and knew that I was producing around 2-3 follies each month and I had cracking ovulation pain and temps were lovely and high and ovulated around day 11-13. The past two months I haven't had monitoring and only normal ovulation pain and not really high temps. I'm just now thinking that maybe your body gets immune to clomid...slightly concerned as I'm supposed to be going through icsi with 100 mg of clomid next month and concerned that body has become used to it so it won't produce more follies. I don't respond to normal injections anymore as my amh in its boots but I appeared to respond well with clomid and I ovulate every month anyway. .
Any knowledge would be great fully appreciated. Dr google doesn't seem to have anything and when I asked the nurses they just said maybe your body gets used to it....now does that mean it becomes less effective? Who knows...I suppose I should try not to get too concerned about it as there is nothing that can be done about it now....hmm

I am keen on an answer too. I was on 50mg for 7 months but stopped for a break til after my lap. Have two sets in the draw but figure I might need them post lap as I have pcos. My doc seemed happy for me to stay on it but dr google said over 6 months not ideal and over a year can be bad. I wondered about breaks and if that re sets your usage allowance?
