Hi,
I know this topic has probably come up before, but I would love any up to date recommendations for an experienced Rotorua midwife. Pregnant with my first baby and finding it really hard to choose.
Thanks :)

Hi,

it pays to look into a few I had dinnie brady she was awesome although I found she was very set in her "natural" way which is totally fine but would have been nice to at least have the option of a few things diuscussed like she was very anti pethadine/epidural etc which is fine but I would of been a bit more relaxed knowing I had the option , also good to ask how many ladies they have a month some can be really booked good luck

Hi EW33
I'm wondering how you went about finding your midwife in Rotorua? Would she be one you'd recommend others to use? I'm currently living in Auckland but will be moving to Rotorua in roughly 6 months time.

Hi, I ended up using maria Johnson. She was awesome and highly recommend. But there are lots of other great midwives in rotorua too!

I ended up meeting a few. Doctors gave me a list of midwives, although it was quite out dated. But meeting a few is helpful I think.
