Hi guys. 17 years old. Pregnant. A little - okay a lot worried. I hear about all these things to avoid during pregnancy and am going a little crazy worrying about it. I know it's good to be cautious but i think i'm going a little over the top.
Things i'm concerned about heavy lifting? i feel like i've been doing quite a fair bit lately. also lifting toddlers? i'm only a little over 5 weeks pregnant but i'm kinda paranoid that now there is something wrong. Also chemicals and what not. I try try try not to get too close to that stuff and breath it. But i can't fully protect myself from that stuff if i walk into a room to get something and its a strong smell of paint or disinfectant. I wasn't in there for a long time but yeah. worried worried worried. should i try to relax? or should i be really concerned?

Congrats Emma
It's completely normal to feel worried about things when you are pregnant.
Heavy lifting- don't go crazy and try and lift a trailer or anything (!) but I am sure toddlers would be okay. Other mums with more than one baby would do this sort of thing all the time. Maybe if you get a sore back or feel sick, take it easy.
Where abouts do you live/work that smells like paint often? Is it real or your nose being super sensitive? There are natural cleaning products that are okay for you (and the earth!) that might help put your mind at ease. Earthwise is one brand, ecostore... I can't remember the other names at the moment.
It's perfectly okay to be worried about things a little bit. Concentrate on eating well and resting. Look after yourself. I'm sure everything will be okay
