Hi all
Was wondering if anyone if anyone had been doing treatments in nz and then had to move to aussie due to different circumstances and then did ivf or other fertility treatments in aussie? Just wondering what us kiwis are entitled to over there if we wanted to continue treatments over there with a local ivf clinic? Any info would be appreciated

Can you do this? as you don't say under what circumstances, do you mean start IVF, then go over "to continue"? Can you be clearer of you circumstances? As I don't mean to misunderstand you.

My brother was kiwi, and his wife Australian: He NZ/ Aus over 20yrs or so, wife from another country she Australian citizen to.( thus both citizens for a long time)

They had X2 IVF's, then X1 IUI the less invasive treatment, got them pregnant! now have a beautiful toddler. ( the IVF did not work).

The X2 failed IVF's they got half or so of their money back, because never produced a baby, however the more affordable IUI worked.

I don't think Kiwis entitled why? because they are not citizens. Do correct me on this.       (edited X1 word)

Thus, unless their is some or of Government agreement with Australian and NZ with these medical procedures that would " waver" the citizen part, then good Qs, as I have never herd of Kiwis getting the first X 2 Free treatments, or even paying them selves for treatment in Australia.

As NZ gives X2 free treatments first to under 40s olds, then after user pays, not matter how old you are.

However despite this, " do check with your own IVF Clinic / Doc or simply ring one in NZ to get your answers or ring a Australian   Clinic. They will set you on the right path. :)
