I am having my first baby and a C section as I am an older mum. Has anyone used C pants with the silcone on the inside. They are quite expensive and want to know if they are worth it. Thanks

Are they the ones advertised in the magazine? I never brought them I found the H&M 2 for $15.99 warehouse highrise medium control knickers good for when having a busy day post c/s. Earlier on I just got cotton knickers from farmers with the soft lacy elastic brand Honey Vegas.

Have you seen the Pro c/s support thread under c/s, post in there maybe for other mums to get ideas.

It might depend on your size too cos the MW said bigger sized mums scars get weppy from the bulgy tummy sorta sitting on the scar.

its not just knickers you need really comfy pants like Yoga pants a size up for post c/s, I found most my preggy clothes werent even comfy enuf, even the trackies/preggy jeans the elastic hurt.

For me the sorest part is halfway between the scar & the belly button, not the scar itself

Anyway sorry for the novel hope that helps?

Under the c/s support threads there are some lovely photos too that another mum put up.

PS My spinal was in at 8.50am, Baby born at 8.56am, On my chest by 8.58am so lovely!
