Hey ladies,
I have had no experience with MC & don't know anyone I can ask for advice on this..... So hoping you ladies don't mind me popping in here for advice
Tues Morning I got a pos test & went to docs on Thurs arvo for confirmation etc Her test took at least 5mins to show a very faint line so sent me for HCG bloods which came back at only 24 units. I took another test first thing this morning (exactly the same one as Tues) and it is neg (extremely faint line). So I'm unsure what to think?? I have pretty much had cramping all week but no bleeding or anything..... Am I about to MC?
Your thoughts would be most helpful!

First off hugs to you.
I have never had one but from what I have read you may have had a chemical pregnancy. I would go back to your doc on monday and get another blood test to see what your HCG levels are doing and wether they are rising or not. I hope its just to early to tell.

Thanks Wriggles..
Well my worries proved to be justified... sadly I miscarried early this week at just over 5 weeks. I didn't think I would be as down about it as I am. While DH and I had planned this baby, I didn't realize just how attached I was getting so early on..... I just feel like sitting and staring into space, blank minded..... which is very difficult to do while at work!
I send huge hugs to everyone in this forum, esp those that were further along, as I coulnd't imagine having been any more attached than I was.....
I don't personally know anyone who has been through a MC so am struggling to find someone to talk to that may understand.
Big hugs and lots of baby dust to you all

Hi Storm,
Really sorry to hear of your loss. It is very hard to go through a MC. I had a missed MC in June at 8w and it was very devestating and I felt very lonely too.
It helped me to read other peoples stories and to realise you are not alone.
Over time it will get easier, just take one day at a time.
