Does anyone have one of these - they are on sale at Smiths City for $349 at the moment and i am thinking i'll take my chance to snap up a higher RF carseat.

The only disadvantage i can spot is they are polyester as DS seems to sweat a lot in his carseat and was hoping for a natural fibre. However seems i'll only get that on one pattern of the Radian (which was my first choice but while this is on sale i'll take the chance to save couple hundred!)

ETA: That sounded like i'd take the cheaper carseat and leave DS sweating - i meant i'd take the cheaper carseat and get a cotton cover or similar for it!

I tried my DD in one, they're really narrow, like they need to be quite a skinny toddler to fit it easily. Havn't got one though

Well - i did - it was lovely, DS looked comfy as anything in it, but it didnt fit my car properly - it sat against the front seat at a weird angle so was constantly slipping up, rather unsafe so i took it back. I would say its only disadvantage was that it didnt have any kind of tether. I got a raidian in the end and i DO like that it tethers to the floor. But the safe and sound actually looks more cushioned and comfy.

I got one of these on special at Farmers, and it's pretty easy to install, and easy to get bub in and out of. You kind of need some head support for a younger bub though.
