Hi there,
I'm looking for antenatal classes in Wellington City. Ideally, I wanted to go to Parents Centre in Island Bay, but this is already full for the dates I need. So I'm now choosing between Birth Resources (works out of Wellington Hospital) or the Parents Centre in Khandallah. Has anyone used either of these, and what was your experience? Thanks! Alana |

I'm attending the one by Birth Resources in June... They've been fabulous to deal with so far, and really helpful with my zillion questions.. I liked that I also got a hospital tour with the course...and a dvd to recap stuff...They also did the Saturday course, which worked for me better as I'm finding I'm exhausted in the evenings after work :)

I did birth resources one and found it good. I like that it was midwives that lead it. we got a great antenatal class out of it although that may have more to do with the people and the class. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Because Birth Resources is relatively new, there's not a lot of info around about them, so it's really helpful to get feedback from people who know - thanks! Will most likely book with Birth Resources now. ------------- Alana - baby due 14 Oct 2011 |

Hello congrats on your pregnancy.
I went to the parents centre antenatal class in Khandallah and they were great. The ladies that take it are really helpful and also ended up with a great group of girls for a coffee group so if you don't end up at Birth Resources I would recommend the parents centre. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I have to agree wholeheartedly with CJ1981 - possibly because we were in the same class at Khandallah Parents Centre (I have since moved south and miss the girls from our AN group)
