Maybe chuck a belly band underneath to fill in the gap? That's what I do

| that would work...or do your maternity pants have the wide bands that can come up over your bump..I find that works as your bump gets big enough. |

In my first pregnancy I got a l/s merino top from pumpkin patch maternity. Cheap on sale. I wonder if they still make them? -------------

| I was gonna suggest Shantons merino (its 50% off at the moment too) as they are quite long and stretch well and cheap enough that you can stretch the hell out without too much guilt! |

the warehouse has got some awesome merinos, and they are on special at the moment too  i just got some cardi's, but they also have crew and v neck ones that look like they'd be long enough to cover bump... I second the belly band too to make up the gap.

| hi there, i got my merinos from pumpkin patch maternity and also max (just in 1 size bigger than normal) and they are great. Max also has in some merino singlets, but they are long like slips, so i got 2 of those as well. |
