Hi all, I have recently found out I am pregnant with our 2nd and I hoping someone could recommend a good midwife to me. We live in Darfield so preferbly someone from this area. I had heard good things about Maxine McSkimming, but she is retiring! I am looking for an easy-going M/W, that is open to a hospital birth.
Any help would be muchly appreciated

My MW, Wendy Walton from midwifery associates in Chch was fantastic. I don't know if she covers Darfield, but I know that she has had some clients from Burnham, so it might be worth checking out ... ------------- http://lilypie.com">

| I had Val Melling who works with Maxine. And Val was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend her. I also know quite a few other women who have used her and I have heard nothing but positive things. |
