Im a first time Mum (second pregnancy so a tad nervous) and Im looking for a MW and have no idea where to even start looking. We live just north of Otaki so would be looking at birthing in Levin or Palmy. Any recommendations would be great?

They have some in Kapiti & Otaki. Good Luck finding a midwife. I would the Otaki midwives ASAP to see if you can get one. There are huge shortages so you dont want to leave it. -------------

if you go to mamaternity.org.nz it has a list of all the midwives in the manawatu area. Happy hunting  -------------

meant to ask... when are you due and do you have any idea what sort of birth you want to have???
