Hi all,
Just wondering if there are others undergoing or about to undergo IVF for baby number 2? I am fortunate enough to have an adorable 11 month old son as a result of my second round of IVF, and am about to embark on my 3rd round trying for baby number 2... I found these formus very beneficial when I did my last two cycles and am interested in being involved again this time.... No matter how many rounds of IVF I dont think the emotion of it all gets any easier!

Hi there Country girl

I have a 15 month old son that was concieved through IVf first time round with us. I couldn't believe it! We got 3 embryos so have had 2 frozen. On March I had an embryo put back in to try for number 2. I got a positive pregnancy result but sadly I just miscarried. I am devastated. I think I would have rather it not have worked than to suffer a miscarriage. We are going to use our last embryo in a couple of months. We went the public route with our IVF so if this doesn't work we will have to decide if we go privately next or just leave it. We were really hoping our son wouldn't have to grow up an only child.

All the best with your next round. I am here any time you want to chat about it.

Hi Country Girl
We are currently undergoing IVF #2 for #2 - we have a 21 month old son from our first round. We are in Aus at the moment so going private under the Medicare system.

We tried an IUI when back in NZ in Feb but it wasn't successful. I think the fact you have already had a baby increases your chances slightly - it is still a hard road but I am finding it easier second time round as we feel very blessed to be parents at all - although I would love for our son to have a sibling.
