Just wondering how long you had your bloody show for before things started?
With Leah I had my show then went into labour the same day. But I started having my show since Monday night but not to much happening!! Im not worried coz I know it going to happen one day in the next two weeks  But just interested on when yours happen? -------------

It wasn't a bloody show, but i had my show 4 days before my waters broke with both of my kids. -------------

| I had a bloody show - and ran freaking to the midwife with it who confirmed it! I think that was a week before i was due and i went 10 days over. I could have cried - everyone and everything said labour would start within 72hrs with a bloody show. |

Mine wasn't bloody but lost my plug (thats the same thing aye?) a week before she decided to come!

My bloody show came around 8am (40+6) and I went into labour at 8.30pm that same night.

Hehe, this was me. Except I had a bloody show (and in retrospect a hindwaters leak) at 37 weeks. So I arranged to finish up work the next day (I'd been planning on going till 38+5), and then sat around twiddling my thumbs until 41+3, so over a MONTH later

Had my show at 5pm on the 19th and thought nothing of it and at 9.30pm that night waters broke and went to the hospital at 10am on the 20th (due to waters breaking) was 6cm but only half of waters gone so had 2nd half broken and by about 2pm I was 7cm and she was born after having some syntocin at 5 to speed things along (still 7cm) at 8.08pm! But MW said you can lose you show for weeks before you go into labour!
ETA: My show wasn't bloody - I lost the mucous plug at 5 and when my waters broke at 9.30 was when it was bloody/pink tinged water and thats when MW confirmed it was a show and nothing to panic about. I know I had my show at 5 as it was a huuuuuge snotty glob lol and I'd been watching like manic as I'd had a lot of watery discharge weeks beforehand. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

With DS i had been having mild contractions all day and then at somewhere between 8 and 9pm that night had a heavy bloody show which freaked me out! Left for the hospital and was 4-5cm -------------

I had mine (pinkish colour) 5 days before DD was born. Although I was induced due to hind water breaking (4days after show) and nothing happening by itself. So could have been longer if I wasn't induced... ------------- DD 4yrs DS 2yrs http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

I had mine 1 week before DD came. Was really dissapointed because i hoped that whole week id go into labour.
With my first proper contraction i had a very bloody show, MW told me its the rest of the show which is closet to cervix coming away thats how i knew things were all go  -------------

I started loosing my Mucous plug (the snotty stuff) 10 days before my waters broke.
I didnt loose the bloody show until I was well into labour, about 30 minutes before Jackson was born. Most people loose their mucous plug first (which can have blood streaks through it) and dont loose their bloody show until after labour has started. Some people dont even realise. ------------- Our Angel July 08 Gone but not forgotten
