Can we eat calamari out? Im so over eating crap out at cafe since salads and cabinet food are out! and salt and pepper calamari keeps jumping out at me and Im not sure if we can eat that since we are supose to be careful of seafood etc when out?

Also what do you order when your out at cafes for lunch

I'd do calamari...its mainly shellfish thats dodgy isnt it?

Otherwise stick to cakes or toasted sandwiches, pasta, well heated things.

My GF who lives in Greece was telling me they are told to eat seafood over there she eats it all the time and she is PG and it was the same when she was PG and living in Israel, I think NZ is overly strict when it comes to "banned" foods in pregnancy in comparison to what I hear from friends who live in other countries.

I wouldn't hesitate to eat calamari, yum!
Out at cafes - depends on how good their menu is obviously, some places don't seem to have a lot that's not in the cabinet. Something like a burger and fries or toasted sandwich always seems safe though.
