My sister is looking at buying an Evenflo symphony for her 8 month old son. Just wondering if anyone has any comments for or against it??

I have this one, I LOVE that it goes from RF to FF to booster, something to be aware of though is the expiry is 6 or 8 years so may not do multiple children right up to booster.

Also, check it out in her car first, it sits up on a base-thing which makes it quite high. My DD had to put up with a couple of bumped heads getting in and out of it while I got used to it (and we have a people mover!) It barely fit in my hatchback, well, it did, but it was really hard for the kids to climb in and out of.

I actually love it, the harness adjustment is really easy, it's big but comfy.

I'm really happy with it. Of all the seats we tried in our (small hatchback) car, this took up the least amount of space rear facing, meaning that I can finally use the glove box in the front again.   We're finding it easy to get in and out of - can transfer out of this seat and into cot without waking if fallen asleep.

Covers easily washed - we've already had to put it through the machine after a vomit, and it's come up as good as new.

Am pretty sure it lasts 8 years for the harnesses. But, the baby on the move lady said that once you are using it as a booster that it is just used as a seat belt guide and so expiry didn't then matter (something about expiry only being relevant for the straps, if that makes sense??...check this...she spoke so fast, I didn't clarify!)

Hope this helps! I say go for it :-)

We have it, love it, washes vomit etc off really well. Like the padding and put our son in around 6 months old (he's average size) and found it great for long trips versus the capsule at that age.

We have one for DS and are going to get one for this next one too. I love that they are RF up to 15kgs and that its the only seat they will need!
