Hi everyone

I'm brand new. Husband and I are looking at ttc later in the year.

Just wondering if anyone else has PCOS and Endo. I would love to hear from you! I'm lucky enough to have both. I'm under the care of a great Gyno and Endocronologist and we're working together to get me in the best condition for ttc.

Cheers

Yep, hand up here I learnt about the PCOS after trying unsuccessfully for a baby for a while. We started on clomid, which did nothing for me, but it took quite a few months of increasing doses for the Dr to decide that it wasn't going to do anything. At that point one of my routine internals showed suspected endo too (I did have pretty painful periods, which was another clue), so I had a lap operation done before we got started on more serious stuff like IVF.

I got the lap done through my insurance (as endo is classes as a medical condition, rather than a fertility one, it was covered), but had the same Dr as I did at Fertility Associates. While she was in there, she drilled my ovaries, since she knew about the PCOS and that we were trying to conceive - and voila, I never even got my period back after the lap operation, we conceived Jacob straight away.

I know of people with both conditions who have conceived without a struggle - hopefully you're in that lucky group!

I too have both. Had lap surgery which confirmed endo, excised lesions (not too serious thankfully) and removed two fibroids from my uterus. I was out of baby making action for a month after surgery, then fell pregnant on the second cycle afterwards. Good luck I hope you have quick success too.
