Well here goes, did you ever NOT feel pregnant when you were and kept having the feeling, and physical symptoms like AF was coming? Does this increase the chance of miscarrying?
With my first I just KNEW I was pregnant, with this little peanut, I honestly keep feeling like AF should arrive any second.

I feel a bit the same way but nope, definitely pregnant.
I do also feel less attached to this baby than I did with #1. With DS I was in love with him from the moment I got my BFP, but this time around I'm neither here nor there.
Could just be a case of it being 2nd time around.

I kind of felt like that this time.
All my symptoms were AF related and i had alot of cramps. I think its just because i found out so early. (4weeks)
I think i started feeling better about 6/7 weeks

This is my first but I still felt like AF was on the way up till about 5 weeks I think. It wasn't till I got to between 5-6 wks that I started feeling nauseous.
Surely we're not supposed to feel attached to the baby yet? I find that pretty hard to do when I know it's the size of a peanut, I'm just praying that I get through the first trimester intact and then I'll start getting excited!

Little Red this is my first baby too and once i got through my first trimester i started to get very attached to the baby and even talk to it I think once i knew the chances of anything bad happening we lessened i could feel better

Yeah I think that's how I will feel as well. I have no idea how some people can be so confident that nothing will go wrong in the first trimester! I have always been a glass half full person so this is really weird for me.
I actually think a lot of my attitude has to do with this site because I have read so many sad stories over the years, it really magnifies it all.

I'm actually really excited about this one (he/she is planned) whereas with my first there was a part of me (mean though it is to say)hoping that she would miscarry because it would be simpler. Of course now I absolutely love her and wouldn't change her for the world.
The only reason I'm fairly confident is miscarriages just don't seem to happen in my family, arrogant as that may sound, and we all get pregnant pretty easily too. (Though theres always that niggling doubt!!)

Yes, felt that way until MS kicked in at 7ish weeks. But I had it on/off and when it wasn't there I worried 24/7!

I TOTALLY thought I was getting AF before I got my BFP. I tested to put it out of my mind....only to be totally surprised with the +ve test!! I remember it feeling like premenstrual cramps...just the little stabby pains. In hindsight though, I also had heart burn for the whole weekend before I knew I was pg. I too felt fine until MS set in...(bleurgh)

With Cuinn I was sure that AF was on the way - I felt absolutely no pregnancy symptoms at all until about 6 weeks. He was IVF, so it may have been to do with hormones, but I felt the same with this one too - just like AF was about to start, except it didn't. It wasn't until I'd digested a positive test over a few days that I realised that things had been a bit different, and were the same things I'd experienced very early on with Cuinn. Tricky little monkeys

I was totally convinced I wasn't pregnant, and didn't feel pregnant at all for quite a while. And Jacob's kicking his chubby little legs in his bouncer as I speak
On the other hand, I was totally, 100% attached and bonded to him from the time I knew he existed, even though I knew that something could still go wrong. I'm not quite sure how you reconcile that with not feeling pregnant, but that's how it was.

Yea I also felt 'strange' like af could arrive any second and then BAM the MS kicked in and didnt ease up until 20 weeks or so and then I could feel DD kicking away in there plus tummy got big!
It was the one month I was sure I was not pregnant tho I felt more pregnant previous months!

I definitely felt like AF was coming before I found out! Thats why it took me so long to get the pregnancy test. Had the cramps and everything!

Im only pregnant with my 1st, so im not sure how it will change once she's born...
I had NO symptoms. No MS, no sore boobs, not tired, no cramps, not a thing. I didnt feel pregnant, I didnt look pregnant, basically if it wasnt for the gazillion tests I took + the beta HCG's I demanded and the early scan I truely wouldnt have believed I was pregnant.
I felt like for a long time. Even after my 12 week scan I still didnt believe it really. I always thought I was weird for feeling that way, Ive never miscarried, bub was planned and 100% wanted by DF and I.
Then I went for my 20 week scan. I thought I had been feeling movements but I didnt trust myself to believe what i was feeling was the baby. Once I saw her moving and kicking and felt them at the same time it all made sense and felt real to me.
About 4 weeks later I finally got a bump too lol. That makes a big difference, you really FEEL pregnant once that bump arrives
Every mum is so different. Theres no rule I reckon for how you feel and it can all change so quickly

I found out I was preg with Isla at just over 4wks, I didn't feel the slightest bit pregnant, and still didn't until I was about 8wks when the MS kicked in and all of a sudden I didn't fit my work pants (I popped out really early!). I still didn't let myself get too excited until the 12wk scan tho..... my Mum had 7 MC's so was always wary that something could happen.
