| Have just realised (read the NT scan results) that I have an anterior placenta. I have looked up what it means and am wondering if anyone else here has one. I know it causes no harm or concern but i am just wondering if you have one when was the first time you felt bubs move as I have read that it can stop you from feeling movements early |

| I had one, but still felt movements early - 16 weeks or so. I do know others didn't really feel much movement at all though with theirs. |

| I am really hoping I get to feel baby move. I am nearly 15 weeks and this week and last I was sure I felt baby move (felt like litlte bubbles in my lower tummy) but once reading I have an anterior placenta, I have given up hope that that was baby :( |

It still might have been 
I have one and i had maybe-baby-bubbles from about 15 weeks but had no definate big kicks until about 24 weeks. It drove me mad, especially when others were feeling crazy movements all the time! The movements will come

:D :D Im hoping they will come sooner than later. I think the reason I feel so down about it is that I was overweight to begin with (I dropped 15 kilos though then gained some back then got pregnant) which I have heard can make you feel movement later than other women who are slimmer, and then I found out I have this which can also make it harder to feel movements earlier. I am trying to be positive and still trying to believe it was baby I felt :) |

There are a lot of things you can do to make baby move, supposedly. Like drink a cup of ice-cold water and lie down - there are lots more, other ladies will probably have suggestions. You can always give them a try and see what you feel.
But mostly its patience, grasshopper. I honestly thought i was never going to feel the big movements but now its like whole body parts popping out to the sides. And IMO if you think it was the baby then it was the baby

StephiG 14 weeks is still very early to feel movements especially with your first! I didn't feel any movements with my first until 20 weeks, and my 2nd was 17 weeks

22-23 weeks! Everyone was asking me sooner but mw told me to ignore it and that it was completely normal to not feel it until later. Though I am pretty sure I felt first movements about 19 weeks (light bubbly feeling like blowing bubbles through fizzy or milk feeling) but I definitely noticed it at 22-23 weeks! ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I had one with #1.
I felt little bubbles from about 17 weeks and thought I felt a kick the morning of my anatomy scan. She kicked again during the scan and because I could see it at the same time that confirmed it. But they were few and far between until about 23 weeks, then it was obvious -------------

Yep I had one too, I didnt feel DS till I was about 19 weeks?And the first few days were like what most people have said and they were just little bubbles and really little movement, about 21 weeks onwards it was really noticeable ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Thank you ladies! Im glad to hear that most people having an anterior placenta still felt bubs move early on!
While reading this I had some more little "bubbles" that I have felt previously. Im not sure if this is gas or baby! I guess if it keeps happening I will know if its bubs :D -------------

I had an anterior placenta with baby 2 and I felt her kick properly at about...20 weeks, but was feeling bubbles and stuff from 9 weeks with her!
With my son I hd a posterior placenta and felt him from about 11 weeks, and first boot at 17 weeks and we could feel and see it from the outside, was awesome!! ------------- |

I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and i still felt her move at 12 weeks (to the day). I could see her moving and feel it from the outside at about 17 weeks. So it didn't make any difference to me.
With my son i think the placenta was posterior. I felt him move at 17 weeks. -------------

Tonight while at our christmas dinner (before I had started eating) I felt something in my tummy. It felt like little bubbles popping or someone light tapping inside.
I have felt this a couple of times before but tonight was much more noticeable :D Do any of you think it could have been bubs? -------------

I had anterior, first time I felt movement was 21w2d. I never got bubbles, it was a full on kick or punch and they hurt! I was greatful for the cushioning out front as I'm sure it helped absorb some of the impact as the baby got bigger. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

I've got an anterior and it took quite some time for me to decide if what i was feeling was baby or not.
The best advice i was given was that the first movements feel like a fish nibbling on the end of a fishing line (thanks Kelly) ETA i am now 30 weeks and have been getting full on kicks for quite some time and can see baby moving from the outside very easily.
