Pregnant with baby # 2 - im only 9 weeks along. First bubba is only 8 months old. Ive just had Carpel Tunnell Surgery, have put my back out and am suffering from the worst case of all day morning sickness imaginable.
Just putting this out there, id love to hear from people going through similar things...issues...troubles...its nice to hear your not the only one going through tough times....
Husband has to go back to work next week and im only in my 2nd week post-op from Carpel Tunnell surgery. With this back issue, and feeling crook anyway..im scared sh*tless about dealing with things myself...and I have an 8mth old to care for:-(

Feeling blue....

take each hour as it comes and try not to think ahead too much.

Do you have family or friends that can lend a hand.?

Sounds pretty tough. I hope your 8mth old isn't mobile yet, that would make it harder.
Ask for help. Friends often don't know how or when to help, but will if given the chance. Say yes to help. Get a girl friend to come over and spend the day to help with the baby.
Slow cookers - love them - I still stuggle to get dinner on the table, 5pm is DS worst time of day, it's so much easier to put tea on in the morning.
Don't do anything round the house that doesn't HAVE to been done. Let stuff slide for a couple of weeks.
Good luck

Oh !
As the others have said accept all help that is offered, I know it is hard but ask for help if it isn't offered, it is the best thing to do.

If you live in Auckland then give http://www.parentport.co.nz/contact.htm - Parent Port a call and ask them for help. I have used the West Akl one and they are brilliant. They have told me several times to call them whenever I need help as if people aren't asking then they don't get Govt funding.

aww *hugs*!!!

I know how your feeling in regards to the morning sickness and having a baby. I fell pregnant with my daughter when my son was only 5 months old, and I had all day sickness, it was awful trying to look after him and myself. Thankfully though, my sickness wasnt as bad as with my son, but it was still horrid.

I used to put DS in his playpen with a bunch of toys and some blankets so I could just lay on the couch when I was feeling really rotten, or Id pop him in his cot. It didnt do him any hard and I felt much better after a rest!

My husband was only home weekends and got home from work after 5.30 every night, so it was hard getting through it on my own, but I got there!
