Hi,

Firstly this pregnancy i've been suffering really badly from being bloated and its so painful, it comes on randomly day and night and makes me go from looking barely pregnant to about 8 months, its frustrating as some days people go oh look really showing now and i think well a bit yes but don't tell them the gory details - anyway that doesn't bother me as much as the pain - what can I do, what helps???

is anyone else finding this??

Now 2nd question poles apart, we just found out our 2nd baby is a boy - very VERY excited, but unlike the 1st we have no names, so I could do with name website suggestions and name suggestions, our 1st is Finley Jack, i loved that name before we knew he existed, we have a super short surname so it needs to be two syllables, I loved Lachlan and really thought that is the way we would go, but annoying DH does not agree...grr, anyway I will go through other name threads just wanted to start my own

If you google baby name sites, some of them are really flash in that you can put in your requirements (i.e starting letter or ending letter, country of origin, some even ask for your last name and potential middle name to find names that 'suit') and it will come up with everything matching your requirements... blowed if I can remember the one I used though sorry!

As for bloating... I get that a lot and just suffer with it lol, but I've seen ads on telly about those yoghurt thingys or fibre drinks that are supposed to magically help get rid of bloating... havent tried anything myself as I figured last time i was constantly sick, this time bloating must be my tradeoff to get my baby lol! From what I understand, a high fibre diet keeps things 'moving' along fast enough to prevent the gas build-up that causes bloating, so maybe thats something to look at?

Oh and just wanted to say I the name Lachlan too, thats what Jae would have been if she'd been a boy, only spelt Locklyn (after DP's fave league player lol!)

This one, if its a boy, I am looking at Austin Leslie as a possibility, but I'm beginning to sway off that name for some reason... if I need to then I'll look for other options later

i have bloating issues normally. you could try cut back on dairy as it could be that, try slowly increasing fibre but dont go nuts as it can contribute to bloating, you can try cutting back on carbs or fats and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise keep an eye out for triggers such as stress etc.

The onyl advice I have read about bloating is to drink more water, which seems backwards cuz you would think it is the water that does it too, but try having a couple more glassses a day if you can and see if that helps?
Sympathise with you on the name thing, we are having a girl thankfully as we had a name picked out, but we were "arguing" about boy names, could not find any we agreed on either! GL, you still have quite a few weeks to find some!

We had issues with boys names too...well, difficulty agreeing! I ended up letting my DP have final say, as his first born son I thought it was pretty special.

I found this website one day and it's quite good for a bit of fun...
