Does your child have one?

Rhyley has one called Robbie (and sometimes one called Blob)

He will call Robbie - tell me hes sick (robbie that is) tell me things Robbie does and just now I found Rhyley in bed and asked why and he said

'cause I am with Robbie in here"

when asked where he was he said lying there (pointing to right next to him)

I find this harmless but thought should we be encouraging his imaginary friend or ignoring it and not 'talking' to robbie like hes there or having a conversation about Robbie.

my older kids have had imginary things before (Josh had dragons) but never lasted this long and never was named.

ETA Rhyley is 3 and half

Funny thing is he doesnt know a Robbie so wouldn
t have a clue where he got the name from... its cute though and pretty harmless I am sure

As long as it doesn't turn into a 'Right said Fred' friend

Rhyley will talk and play game without his IRL friends but Robbie is just that an imaginary friend..

haha Bizzy at Toby making too much noise at bedtime... at least tonight Robbie went home and is in bed

hehe @ Isla being bossy

Sam has a person called 'Anthony' but he doesn't play with him or talk to him he just tells me he is 'outside' and will randomly tell me how Anthony is outside somewhere.

He also has imaginary dragons in his wardrobe, and apparently they bite him.

I was showing him pictures on google of dragons and he pointed out which ones they were.    They were little baby dragons and kinda scary looking.
