Strange title but really didn't know what to put.

My son goes to DC 2 days a week and at DC they have nap time on mattresses on the floor.

At home I know find him sleeping on the floor quite often esp for his day nap or if he wakes early in the morning.

He takes his pillow and duvet with him but my concern is that we have wood floors so they are COLD! I have put a rug on the floor in there but he sleeps anywhere but there. I have tried transferring him but it wakes him.

Any ideas or tips of how to get him to sleep in his bed!

Sorry I don't have any tips but we have similar problems (not from DC though, she just likes the floor).
We have have one of those wee couches that folds out in her room and quite often she will end up sleeping on there although she never bothers with the blanket.
We have a rug in the room too but she prefers the wooden floor.
