your childs feet???

Ella is 3 and has now got size 11 feet!!! size tens fit without socks but 11s will be the winter ones...she has grown like a damn weed where her feet are concerned! Her friends at DC all seem to be about a 7 or 8 if that!!! SHe has skinny feet too so crocs dont fit well unless they are slim look ones....

I feel like I have had to buy shoes constantly as she grows out of the soooo quickly! Not really a bad thing tho cause I like shopping LOL!

how BIG (or small) are your kids feet....????

My DD is just over 19months old and has size 6/7 feet. Yip we have skinny feet here too and shoes are a bit more difficult to buy. But considering shes pretty tall, she'd look funny with wee feet

DD1 (who is 6) has size 10/11 feet, so we nearly had a heart attack when we took DS shoe shopping the other day and bought size 9!!! ( he is 18 months)

Thomas is nearly 2 and he has size 5/6 feet depending on the brand. Pain in the bum thing is that his feet are super chunky, so we have to get bigger shoes for him ><

Oli has very deep feet, so lots of shoes dont fit well. He is wearing a size 6 / 7 which is a pain as all his "favourite" shoes are now too small for him!!

Ethan is 17 months and has size 6 shoes (mind you he is extra tall for his age).  I found a good range of shoes in his size at the Warehouse, also bought some at No 1 Shoes but found for some reason size 6 wasn't so popular, same with socks, lots of shoes and socks up to size 5 and lots size 7 up but very hard to find size 6.

DD is heading in the same direction. Have just bought Cathy (2yrs 8mth) size 9 slippers. Hippo and Friends from The Warehouse fit her long narrowish feet.

DD1's feet are a massive 15.5cm - I just bought her hoof size 9! (although they are a bit big). Her toes are hanging over the end of her summer sandals and when I bought them I was worried they might be too big all summer....

B has big feet - 14months and size 5/6 hes a bit in between at the moment 5s are a big narrow for his wide feet

LOL yeah I had the toes hanging over edge issue before summer also...ugh!

Truds - yep i know how tiny you are....and you know Ella was never gonna be small but OMG I need to take shares in shoe companies I think!

Stez and Annie - hmmmm might need to send some very little worn shoes your way then!!! cause i know we have similar tastes!

I buy mostly from number 1 shoes...or sometimes in warehouse on sale (mainly summer stuff like jandels etc) thank goodness cause then i can buy 2 or 3 at a time for less than one pair in hannahs or farmers! I bought a pair of grrosby boots for winter for her the other day for $10...that is about my limit except for the divine basketball boots i bought her for $20 the other week! I am in love with STOMP shoes at moment but can not justify her needing anything like that....gasp DC would ruin them in one hit! she only has dora and mickey crocs cause of that massive sale a few months back!

Lauren is 16months and in a size 5. We normally buy from the warehouse, but their sizing can vary so much even within the same brand - for instance, for my DD1 she has a pair of size 11's and one of 12s in the same brand, of which the 12s are actually smaller in size. She was wearing a size 1 in the bigger girl shoes when she was early 4, but they are smaller than some of the size 11/12/13's around! it can be a bit confusing at times, definitely pays to actually try them on rather than just buy on the size number alone when shopping there.

Bethany is 17mths and generally wears a 3/4 - only more recently has started fitting some 4s. Although when we went to t&t just after she started walking (at 13.5mths) to see what shoes they had, she was a size 2 in one type of shoes and supposedly a size 4 in another... go figure! Shoe sizes can be nuts sometimes eh :P

I say if you're not opposed to second hand, TM & op shops can be great - sometimes you fluke shoes that have been barely used, probably ones that were bought for children just before growth spurts lol. Bethany's summer sandals cost me $1.50 and still look gorgeous!

Ryan has just turned 2 and is a sz 9 but then he is tall and skinny and fits sz 3-4 clothes. I just took him and got him fitted at STOMP they were great fitted him in 5 minutes and he finds the shoes really comfortable.

Caprece is almost three and wears 7-8 and Jack is 4 and wears 11-12. I have size 10 feet however so weren't really expecting small footed children. I just can't wait for their growing to stop so things last a bit longer!

My DD2 is 12 months and is a size 4 or 5 depending on the shoe, just had to go out and try find shoes for her and was quite a hard job really as most shoes were really heavy. The only ones uld find for her are boys shoes. (that is in Feilding tho)
