How do you start getting Meat into LO diet ??

hes 6.5months and usually has

stage 2 cereal for bfast

homemade lumpyish fruit puree for lunch - banana, pears, apples etc

homemade veg for dinner.. Brocolli, pumpkin, carrots, spinach etc

Should i just start adding it to my cooked veg puree ??

Suggestions on how best to cook it first ??

Do i just grill off a port chop like i would for us and and add it to the wizzer with some veg ??

All this solids business can be very confusing.. i want to get it right and instill good eating habits..

thanks in advance

With things like mince and chicken I poached/bolied them then  just wizzed them up with the veges. With chops, steak etc, I grilled or lightly fried them then frozze them whole then grated frozen meat into the veges before I reheated them.

DD doesn't eat alot of meat, we probably have meat 2 times per week.
She has fish about 3 times per week, poached with herbs wrapped up in gladwrap - usually with veges and pasta

We buy chicken livers and have that once a week made up as Pate. She loves it on toast and is a good source of iron. You can also freeze them and grate them raw over cooked veges and/or pasta - it cooks from the heat - she feeds herself these. Probably has it twice a week.

We would make little stews with meat and veges and then whizz them.
