Hi well Chelsea will be 1 next Sat () and we're going to continue with the BFing. Just wondering what others did/are doing/are planning to do with regards to offering cows milk if you're still BFing. Is the breast milk meant to be instead of cows milk, or as well as? If as well as, when do you offer the cows milk?
Just looking for ideas, thanks

You can just offer her a drink of cows milk with her lunch or breakfast or any time of the day you want really.

I don't offer cow's milk to drink but he does have milk on cereal.
I'm pretty sure you don't need to offer if breastfeeding cos they are getting the milk requirement from you, but also don't really see the harm if you do want to offer some.

maia is almost 15 months old now and she has 2 BFs, 1 in the evening before bed and one first thing in the morning. the rest of the day she has about 2 drinks of cows milk and the rest of the time she just has water.
i'm not sure if that's the right way to do it but it seems to be what she wants so i guess it can't be too bad
