After talking to Mum today about the amount of salt that is "hidden" in so many foods I am starting to think that I need some new snack ideas for Jack.
He has cereal for breakfast, eats dinner with us and has his veges and will have sandwiches and fruit for lunch. But I seem to be giving him bars (Mother Earth Fruit sticks), tiny teddies, shapes crakers, creamed rice as snacks, although I don't give him alot of them at a time I suppose I should try and come up with a few healthier snack options, any ideas? ------------- Lindsey

Popcorn is great, we got a popcorn maker with our flybuys points and I use it all the time.
cornthins cruskits yoghurt there is a recipe for homemade muesli bars in the babe thread, is a lot of sugar though, as are most muesli bars. how about making mini savoury muffins? I do one with cheese and pesto that my boys like and you can do them in batches and freeze. -------------
