Oliver is 8 mths. He eats 3 meals a day and loves his solids. However he has really cut down his BF.

He has a really good feed when he wakes, a couple of mins maybe twice thru the day and a mediocre feed at bedtime. He does have a bottle of formula at his DF where he takes between 150 and 200mls.

I am worried my supply will decrease despite the whole supply and demand thing.

Heya Tibby
Corban is still feeding 5x a day and has only in the last two weeks shown more interest in solids. The 6-7am feed is a good feed but the 11am, 3pm and bedtime feeds are definately shorter than they use to be - there are far more interesting stuff going on to waste time BF'ing! He still has a DF which he usually falls asleep after one side but I wake him and make him take the other as I don't want to go to bed with lopsided boobs!

I think it is perfectly normal for them to decrease the volume and frequency of feeds at this age and I wouldn't worry about your supply as he will take what he needs. Are you offering food before BF now? I think I will wait until 9mths before doing that, if you are maybe you could switch back to offering BF first and see if that makes a difference??
