Ok, so last night we learned some valuable lessons. Caleb learned that if you stand up to wee at the potty you will end up peeing all over the bathroom floor. I learned that if you say 'go potty before your bath' then leave the room and trust all will be well you will come back to find your toddler has tried to copy the big boys at daycare doing stand up wees and there is urine everywhere.

Argh, now he has decided that he doesn't need to sit on the potty at all. He can just stand up and straddle it. Problem is only half it goes in. Nappies are looking good again.

my mum always said that boys never really improved their aim etc, they are too easily distracted! so get used to the mess!
