My 2yo daughter has just recovered from a tummy bug which she caught last week, which wasn't much fun especially since I caught it afterwards. We are both fine now and while I haven't had any problems after the bug went away I have noticed for the last couple of days since having the bug my daughters poos have been coming out a very nasty creamy beige colour looking kinda like putty. It doesn't seem to bother her and I'm wondering if it is just a result of the bug and if it will eventually pass. Has anyone else had this happen to their children after having a tummy bug and if so what was done about it or did it just go back to normal on its own? It just started happening after she started having her bottle again as she wasn't allowed dairy while she was sick but I'm not sure if that is related or not.

Yep, Lauren always has those kind of poo's after a tummy bug. I put it down to the dairy consumption after a bug!

might be worth getting a sample of it checked just to be sure because some of the nasty tummy bugs that have gone around lately, especially rotovirus.. tend to have those types of poos for a little while afterwards and can take a bit to clear out of the system even after apparent symptoms have gone.

good to hear that she is on the mend though.
