Ethan atm sleeps in a cot with sleepsuit, dummy and blanket..
he has started kicking the sides of the cot hard and we think it's time for a big bed.. (which is brilliant timing as we will need the cot next year)..
so any tips? the bed has no safety sides as he's a massive climber and I think he will just climb up them then over them...we will be taking him out of his sleepsuit because I think if he falls when he is in it it will be quite dangerous.. temporarily leaving the dummy but that's going in next few months too..
did you do day sleeps in it first? do you do anything to get it warm for them first?

hey Ka, after saying to you yesterday we've taken side off the cot... I have just put it back on ... I am giving myself a few more months sleep as long as she doesn't try to climb out again...
It wasn't easy it took about ten times of her getting up and putting her back to go to sleep and then she turned up in my bed at 3 in the morning with a book saying "oooo look horse"... so sorry no tips here except I would try him in blankets in the cot before the move to the bed so ya not doing the sleeping bag and cot at once IYGWIM... I hope you have more luck than us...
