Rhiannon had gotten use to being able to come into our bed in teh middle of the night and one of us leaving and goin to sleep in her bed.....
so we have broken that habit, but unfortunaltey we then formed a new habit of getting into her bed with her... So i decided on the weekend enough was enough, and so started the battle. Sunday night she had 3 hours sleep (as did i)....but i didnt give in and i kept sending her back to bed. Monday night same thing and i got so tired i think i just fell asleep. Last night she was so wiped from having so little sleep and having daycare and kindy etc, she was asleep at 5pm....woke up at 2am for a nappy change and straight back to sleep and woke up at 6.15am. Tonight out at 5.30pm....woke up 20mins ago but only awake for 5 mins....so fingers crossed we have another good night  ------------- http://lilypie.com">

| You are my hero...seriously. we have one little boy who crawls into bed in the middle of the night. because Lewis works nights I have let Taine jump in. But Lew has a new job starting in two weeks, coincidentally the school holidays - woohoo! we shall try as well. hopefully i'll be as strong as you Kaz! |

it has been hard work....choose this week to do it as Kent has the week off, and i wanted to give in many many times, but i held out....
and once i figured out (on the second night) that her screaming mummy mummy mummy was just another way for her to get me in her room, i just stopped going in and when she came out of her room i just sent her back to bed. Good luck, i know you will be just fine ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Hmmm yes...we nearly did that ages ago with Blake but then he got sick and his Cuddle and Dum Dum became a nice soothing thing for him for bedtime and now of course Brennan has one...I have no idea when we will attempt it..altho I used to worry I no longer think too much about it...figure one day I will bribe him with a pack of lollies or planes or something and he will easily give it up! (ooops I mean "exchange" it not BRIBE!) -------------
