Well had paige in her cot for afternoon nap, was on the phone next thing i hear a crash. Paige has climbed out of her cot. Dont worry she didnt hurt herself.
So we have decied its time for a big bed. She watched me pull down the cot and make her big bed.
So i guess iam going to be in for a fun night.

Good luck!

I hope it'll be a big non-event and she'll go to sleep nicely and not wake again until tomorrow morning (at a decent hour).  Michaela starting sleeping so much better when we finally moved her into a single bed.

Just took side off Rhyleys cot to day - well it was already off just turned against the wall as he wasn't having a bar of it a month ago. But tooday for his afternoon sleep (which he didn't end up having) there was a lil pitter patter of feet down the hall and a knock at the door - yup someone finally figured he could climb ALL the way out. so over to the neighbours to borrow her bed guard (Rhylz is a all over the bed type kid so would of fell out) and he wasn't too keen on it when i put him to bed to night but hes asleep now in his bed .. my baby growing up

oh good luck for tonight will be thinking of you - hope both of ours sleep fine

Good luck Desiree. We had the same thing with DD1 at about 17 months old, she decided that she'd climb out of her cot and dive head-first onto the floor. Fright of my life!
She's happily in her big bed now, we had a few battles but they get it eventually.
Hope you have a good night!

Yay, go Paige!

And go Rhyley! Was wondering how you were getting on with his sleep Ann. Gremlins are doing OK, still not sleeping thru except the odd random night but the beds don't seem to have made the problem any worse after the first few adjustment days.

Yup rhylz is still going good in the bed. I think having a side rail as helped heaps.

Emma i am sure the gremlins will get the message one day - its just double the trouble egging each other on. As you said at least the beds haven't made it worse

Hooper Yay for all well with xavier
