Hi all

My son is 17 months old and, as I am going back to work, I am starting to research daycare.

Can anyone give me any feedback and/or recommendations on any facilties in the Howick/Cockle Bay/Dannemora/Botany area?

Thanks :)

Hey hollgall,

I live in Howick/Botany and there are a lot of options. Do you want home-based care or a centre? For home-based care I'd recommend PORSE (which I use and love). There are quite a few mums in our area on here so hopefully they will weigh in with their recommendations. Best of luck!

My sister works at Lollipops at Botany Town Centre, it seems really good... though you'd probably want to put your son's name down asap cos there's a waiting list. Also the kids I used to nanny for went to Kindercare in Pakuranga (it was on the road that Pak College is on) and that was good too

When are you going back to work?

Thanks :)

I am going back to work in Jan/Feb so have some time to get organised. I think I would prefer a daycare facility as opposed to home care.

I saw Lollipops at Botany yesterday so may pop in this week.
