Man, I am such a loser. I am sitting here bawling my eyes out, no one is home, and I am beside myself. I just accidently deposited $340 into some random old bill payment I have set up once when i was buying some nappies off babyonline. The money was meant to go on my visa. The bank cannot help me. I have to rely on the fact that these people are going to be honest and give it back to me. I feel so so so so so so so so sick  To make things worse, my visa has lots on it (hubby dosen't know how much) and I am meant to be going to nelson on saturday to go shopping for some winter shoes, now I can't afford it. He knows how much I have been looking ofrward to it. God, i feel so sick and so stupid. oh, man, i am so sorry. hope that the money gets returned to you.... BIG HUGS, you really would hope their are honest people out there. have you been able to contact them?
you almost got me into tears...... SO SO SO SO hope that you get it back, that is such a HUGE amount of money. |

contact the nappy place asap...explain what happened and they should give it back, otherwise it is stealing.

I''m sure they will refund the money too!! But it sucks to be in that situation! I know how I would feel.
I once deposited money into the wrong account too. I was supposed to put it in my account to send to NZ, but instead I put it in my landlords account. He rang up and asked if I had paid too much. I said no, cause at that point I didn't think i had. and he said OKay annd hung up! Unless i figured out what had happened, hew ould'n't've said a thing!!!!! |

I think i win this one, i did this Three times. I went to pay three different bills and paid each one to Trademe, so i had to close my trademe account and wait for them to send me a cheque before i could repay the bill.

Funny you should say that... I sold a top on Trade Me this week and the lady put $200 in my account by mistake - I've emailed her straight away with my contact details to get it sorted.

Babyonline have an msn chat option, they are really nice, and helped me out when i did this to them. straight away. just talk to them they rock.

They emailed me at 6.50am and I rang them this morning and they are sending me a cheque. PHEW!!!!! They are great people, as I have delt with them before, so I *thought* it would be ok, but you never know...

Yep *hic* Rod gave me the "misisng " money to use and as i couldn't find any boots to do up over my "atheltes" calves i didn't get shoes only loads of tops and baby gear, so saved money, got a sitter and went out boozing for the first time in AGES (well at the pub anyway), but even still, end up on here.... ------------- The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P |
