Jack my delightful child has decided he doesn't need to sleep during the night. He wakes around 2-3ish and then is awake for a good 3 hours. The first time I kept going in to try and re-settle him and every time I went in he had something else he wanted. Ben got him up about 6am and he came into to bed with me and fell straight asleep. The second night I just left him to it and he was throwing stuff at the door and yelling "Dad get up, get Jack up" so I think he actually wanted to get up.

Does anyone have any ideas for getting him to sleep. I tried explaining to him that night time is time for sleeping and not to yell out and scream because hes not getting up. But that didn't really work.

I was thinking maybe he needs to drop his day sleep but he has it at midday for a good 2 hours and always comes and asks for it so it seems like he needs it.

Any help appreciated.
